A good medicine is a cheerful heart
but a crushed spirit will dry up the bone.
Whilst those close to us may have to depart
we must keep comfort that we aren't alone.
Do not mourn for those who aren't viable
but celebrate for those who yet remain.
The human heart is not reliable
and is often made to ensure much pain.
The loss of life isn't calamity
although it can be hard to behold.
Replace your grievances with amity
and embrace those loved to keep them from cold.
When life feels like nothing is to be had
look at what you have and don't feel so sad.
