Realisations

Recently I realised

that to find eternal happiness

is unrealistic,

and so

I will take each snippet

and embrace them

until they come to an end.

I also realised

that any sadness felt

is not eternal either,

and so

I will turn the page on the sad chapters

and focus on the ones that make me smile.
