debating whether or not to press send

but should that action instigate something

then I would not be able to amend.

I am scared of that final commitment;

because if the message I give's misplaced

then I would find so much shame in my post.

So I keep my deepest feelings as a draft

free for editing until the time is right

for me to publish my words for your eyes
