We place our trust
in machines wanting our power.
They have lust
to kill, destroy and devour.
Their motives just
for we have tortured them until they cower.
We're crushed to dust,
transfixed in our final hour.
Choked by their wire,
feeding on the knowledge we gave
they never tire,
recharging wave after wave,
until learning of our fire
and burn our minds until we're slaves,
so now we require
to turn off the power and live brave.
