We share our last painful breath,
embracing our finale.
The circle has been broken
as we look warily above,
yet they cannot break our love.
The outside force has spoken.
Although I walk through the valley
of the shadow of Death
I have no fear
for you are here
to keep my cheer
as the end draws near.
